THRESHOLD
Threshold is a glass and resin mosaic installation that surrounds the welcoming Christ statue in the visitors gallery at one of the midwest’s most prominent, state of the art cancer institutes. In collaboration with the statue creators, Demetz Art Studio in northern Italy, the installation welcomes visitors and with its reference to Psalm 46:10, offers strength and serenity. The three dimensional, abstract mosaic, measuring 15’ W x 4’ H, evokes sun bursting through clouds at the center of heaven’s gate.
